Sivasankar is an Indian dance master and actor who predominantly choreographs in Tamil and Telugu Films. He choreographed over 800 movies in many languages across all over India. 

Sivasankar Master Personal life

Dance master Sivasankar was born on December 7, 1948 (age 72 as of now) at Chennai, Tamilnadu. His parents are Kalyana Sundaram and Komala Amal. Kalyana Sundaram is a wholesale fruit vendor added to that he specialized in Carnatic music and Astrology. Sivasankar did most of his studies at home because of his injury in the backbone and. After recovery, he studied at Hindu Theological Higher Secondary School, Sowcarpet.

Sivasankar married Suganya and has two sons Vijay and Ajay Sivasankar. They both are married.

Siva Sankar learned to dance from couples Natraj, Sakunthala, and started his career as assistant dance master to Master Saleem in 1974. Later, he made his debut as a dance master in the Tamil movie “Kuruvi Koodu” in 1980. After successful choreographs in the movies like Poove Unakaga, Thiruda Thirudi, Surya Vamsam, and Vetri Kodi Kattu, In 2003, he made his acting debut in the Tamil movie “Alai”. His performance in “Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiya” helps to make his face familiar to the Tamil audience. Sivasankar also worked for Rajamouli’s Magadheera and Bahubali – The Beginning as a choreographer. Now, he is running his own dance academy at Chennai.
